Shannon just helped me deliver my 4th baby a couple days ago. This was my first home birth and because it also happened to be my first vbac, I really had high hopes for this delivery. It was just what I wanted, truly. It was peaceful and supported. My care leading up to delivery was incredible too. I so appreciate the midwifery model of care in that Shannon worked hard to help me overcome some medical issues on the front end so that we could have a safe and happy home birth.
